Prior to becoming a certified holistic health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I was in the hospitality industry for 20 years and an event professional for 15 years.
Stress was constant. I was living an unhealthy lifestyle, traveling frequently for work and eating poorly. Then I would be really hard on myself for not fitting into my jeans and stress myself out even more. Hello Type-A Perfectionist!
I lived like this for years and had no idea what stress was actually doing to my body until it gave out. I LOVED planning events, being on-site and feeling the thrill of traveling to new amazing destinations, but I eventually burned out from not taking care of myself for so long.
